Pitchers and catchers are not due to report to Spring Training for another three months but the Arizona Diamondbacks and their fans are already anticipating the next year. The team announced today the pricing of tickets at their new Spring Training facility in Scottsdale.
Salt River Fields at Talking Stick will be the new Spring Training home for the Arizona Diamondbacks and the Colorado Rockies. Currently being built on tribal land just north of Indian Bend and the Loop 101 freeway, the stadium is on schedule to open in mid February.
Season ticket packages for Spring Training will go on sale in early December. Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community members can begin purchasing season tickets on November 22. Diamondbacks and Rockies Season Ticket Holders will be able to purchase season tickets beginning December 1-4. The general public can purchase season tickets on December 6.
Ticket prices range from $25 for Infield Box seats (Section 109-115), $21 for Dugout Reserve (Sections 104-108, 116-120), $20 for Infield Reserve (Sections 203-221), $15 for Baseline Reserve (Sections 101-103, 121-123), and $8 for Lawn seats.
Fans will be able to purchase packages for all Diamondbacks Spring Training Games, which gives them 17 game tickets, or a Diamondbacks/Rockies Pack for all 33 Spring Training games played at Salt River Fields at Talking Stick.
Individual game tickets will go on sale at a later unidentified date. The Spring Training schedule will be announced shortly. The schedule had been waiting for confirmation of whether the Diamondbacks and San Francisco Giants would be opening the season in Taiwan.
